Yasaman is a Ph.D. student in Architecture at Georgia Tech and a Graduate Research Assistant at the SimTigrate Design Lab and the Georgia Tech Research Institute. She has an academic background in Architecture and Landscape Architecture, with professional experience in architecture firms, universities, and research centers, focusing on the interplay between the built environment and human behaviors and perceptions.
Her research interests include environmental psychology and technology-integrated built environments, with a focus on human-computer interaction. Her work has been recognized by the Environmental Design Research Association, Urban Communication and Community Design, and the Construction Management Association of America. Currently, she is conducting doctoral research exploring the impact of the built environment on perception and computer-mediated communication.
